Nohea Vandevelde

I am Colombian, and the year 2002 was special for me: I met my husband and decided to migrate to Europe. Hand in hand with Guy, I discovered and enjoy the culture of his country, Belgium. This experience allowed me to discover the charm of cultural diversity. Life has taught me to come and go from all places and find in each of them a home for my heart.

 

Let me tell you three things about myself: two passions and a meaning. I am passionate about writing; I believe it is the most direct and powerful way to reach people’s hearts. I am passionate about hula dancing, the traditional dance of Hawaii. The meaning of my name is… well, I’ll let you find that out yourself.

 

I enjoy my simple life and helping people. I care about their problems and their feelings.

 

Perhaps that’s why I have written some self-help books, and now I venture to explore the heartbeat of the migrant person and those who welcome them into their community.
